Welcome to Saylor Industries, Incorporated's 7th year of manufacturing the Clipper  commercial front cut zero turn mower.  We have strived over the years to produce a zero turn mower that will surpass that of our competition, and we believe we have succeeded.  We have added to our superior model to bring you our newest model, the 2002 Clipper .

The 2002 Clipper has not changed dramatically in appearance. Instead, we have added features to this mower that will be sure to make your mowing life even easier than before.  We still offer our same great features as before, but have added a few items to our unit that will be sure to help make servicing and maintaining your Clipper a breeze.

Constructed of primarily seven and ten gauge steel, the Clipper remains the strongest, and most durable zero turn mower on the market.  Such a design provides superior protection against rough terrain and abusive obstacles.  Unlike other lightweight stamped decks, the Clipper mower includes eight anti-scalp rollers (ten on the 72" mower deck), three greasable one-inch spline shaft spindles with tapered roller bearings, cast iron pulleys, Kevlar raw edge belts, and a design that allows cut grass to be discharged with little effort.

The overall design of the Clipper mower allows great maneuverability between obstacles, such as trees and shrubberies.  Two Hydro-Gear TM pumps with great reduction transaxles mounted directly over the drive wheels offer a smooth transaction from zero to seven and a half miles per hour and superb traction in any condition.

We know and understand the difficulties that come with servicing mowers. So, to aid the average customer, the design of the Clipper does not only deliver a fantastic finish cut to your lawn, but also allows for fast and easy maintenance. The flip-up mower deck and carrier, access to the mower blades, belts and grease fittings, makes maintenance a no hassle situation!

There have been many changes to the Clipper design over the years, but the features that have brought the Clipper to excel in its field remain.  For your convenience, the Clipper has many standard features, such as:

Removable Fuel Tanks:  Portable dual fuel tanks provide a safe, fast and easy way to refuel your mower.  Simply remove the containers, and take them to the service station to refill.  Messy refueling is eliminated with the Clipper mower!

Comfortable Seating:  The seat on the Clipper mower supplies a comfortable rid each and every time you decide to mow.  This special seat features adjustable suspension, back angle, lumbar support, and armrests.  Combined, these features create a comfortable and unique ride that reduces vertical motion and helps eliminate back stress.  To make the Clipper even more fun to use, we also provide the rider with a small convenience for those hot summer days: two cup holders.  With such comfort, you'll want to mower with the Clipper every day!

Easy Access: The Clipper offers great accessibility to the engine and drive components.  The seat and hood lift to give easy access to all your needs.  It's never been so simple to service a mower!

Safety First:  With the customer in mind, the Clipper was designed to provide a great, safe mower for virtually anyone to use.  Each design of mower decks tilt over 90º to give access to the undercarriage of the mower deck.  Dangerous situations, such as lying beneath your mower deck to service the blades are eliminated with the Clipper mower.  In addition, the Clipper also features a carrier deck that lifts up for maintenance.

In addition to these many great standard features available to every Clipper ever manufactured, the 2002 Clipper has added a few extra features to its exterior to add to its already superior model.

Belt Tension Release:  We understand the difficulties that one may encounter when servicing mowers.   One such difficulty always seems to present itself with servicing and replacing the mower deck belts.  To allow for a smooth transaction between belts, this belt tension release aids in removing and replacing the mower deck belts.  

Back Suspension:  To aid in the user's comfort, back suspension was added to this year's model.  Now it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between rough or smooth terrain.  The back suspension takes away all the rough impacts caused by sharp rises in the ground or those unexpected dips in the ground.  

A few additional changes were made to the components of the Clipper .  One such example is the customer now has three additional choices to the type of engine their Clipper will contain: a 22hp Robin Subaru, a 24hp Honda, and a 27hp Kawasaki.  Visit our Engines pages for more specifications on the new engines, or visit our Specifications pages for more information on the types of Clipper mowers.
