The Clipper has gone through some changes in the past years leading up to the 2002 model.  But all models offer the same great cut for your lawn as the recent 2002 model.  The only difference from the older models and the 2002 model include a slightly different design and color.

As Saylor Industries, Incorporated began production in 1995, we started production by covering all your mowing needs, and thus the Clipper was born.  Ever since, Saylor Industries, Incorporated and the Clipper has been making great progress to insure that mowing will be easier and a whole lot more fun task for you, our customer.

Saylor Industries, Incorporated prides itself on offering the best front cut zero turn mowers on the market.  In addition to creating a new and improved model of the Clipper , Saylor Industries, Incorporated still provides its customers with the finest selection of used, older mowers on the market.

As years go by, and as customers decide to upgrade their Clipper mower, used mowers will inevitably turn up in our facility.  We find this unacceptable, for used mowers perform just as well as new ones.  So to help keep up with the demand for the Clipper mower, Saylor Industries, Incorporated and our dealers sell reconditioned units from earlier models directly to you.

Selection of used mowers may vary from dealer to dealer.  However, the selection of Clipper used mowers at any time may include one of the following models.

1995-1997 Models

This model of the Clipper model is the oldest model, dating back to the start of production in 1995.  Despite its age, this model still provides a great cut for your lawn.  Used primarily as a mower, this model does not have as many choices of accessories as the newer models.  But, like all Clipper models, it still provides the greatest cut for your lawn offered on the market today.

Unlike the newer models of the Clipper , the 1995 model offers only one mower deck size: the 60" deck, and only one engine: the 20hp Kohler gas.  The later models, starting with the 1997 model began to offer the 23hp diesel and the 24hp gas Kubota engines in addition to the 20hp Kohler.  The later models, also starting with the 1997 model, began to offer three mower deck sizes to choose from: the 48", the 60", and the 72" decks.

However, all models of the Clipper offer the basic standard features found on every Clipper mower, including the two removable fuel tanks, the comfortable seating, and the easy maintenance mower deck and carrier.

1998-2000 Models

This model of the Clipper shows off its unique design.  Its modifications from the previous models include the new design color of red, replacing the silver color.  Not only was the color changed, but the Clipper also added several add-on accessories available for the Clipper .  The mower decks were also redesigned, flip-up handles and even a cup holder on the left fender were added to the model.  After the redesigning and added features, the Clipper further surpasses its competition by providing the best cut for your lawn.

This model offers the same standard features as are on all models and the same mower deck options.  In addition, the same great engines were kept as options:  the 20hp Kohler gas, the 23hp Kubota diesel, and the 24hp Kubota gas.

Otherwise, the 1998-2000 did not change much.  The same great standard features from the earlier models are available, with just a few additions to the list.  This model, like all Clipper models, offers the same great cut as before, with just a few modifications.

2001 -  Models

This model is the beginning of a new ear of the Clipper mower.  The unit itself was completely redesigned, making the Clipper even better than before.  This model still offers the same great cut for your lawn as before, but with some additional features, such as two ten gallon oil tanks built into the chassis.

The 2001 Clipper had a huge variety of engines to choose from.  these engines include the 20hp Kohler gas, the 22hp Robin Subaru gas, the 23hp Kubota diesel, the 24hp Kubota gas, the 24hp Honda gas, and the 27hp Kawasaki gas.  Each engine works with the Clipper to produce an amazing cut for your lawn.

And also as with the earlier models of the Clipper  mower, there are still the same three great mower decks to choose from: the 48" deck, the 60" deck, and the 72" deck.  And let's not forget to mention the same great cut that each of the mower decks have to offer!

As one can easily see, the 2002 model grew out of this model.  In fact, the 2002 model does not differ that greatly from the 2001 model.  It is difficult to distinguish between the two models.  A few added features and slight modifications are all that differ between these two models.
